The Mini-Moose Cabin is a recently renovated mountain retreat tucked away on a quiet dead-end street, backing up to Gallatin National Forest. It’s just 7 miles from Yellowstone’s West Entrance and less than 5 miles from Hebgen Lake and its public boat launch. We’ve also added air conditioning for extra comfort.
Enjoy views of Lionshead Peak and the surrounding Continental Divide from the cabin’s large windows and more than 300 square feet of covered porches. Inside, 725 square feet of inviting, open-plan living space includes one bedroom, one bathroom, a laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious living and dining area. The cabin is best suited for two adults and two to four children.Rustic details—such as circle-sawn Douglas fir floors, reclaimed barnwood wainscoting, knotty pine walls and ceilings, and a wood-burning stove—give the cabin its cozy mountain character. A blend of new and antique furnishings completes the look.

One well-behaved dog weighing less than 60 pounds is welcome for a $100 fee per stay.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
